Singapore Refinery

Singapore Refinery

Our Singapore Refinery has two operating sites - one on the mainland (referred to as Jurong) and another on Jurong Island (referred to as Pulau Ayer Chawan or PAC). The integrated refinery processes about 605,000 barrels of crude into fuels and feedstock for our own chemical plants and industrial customers each day.

Employing about 750 people, the Singapore Refinery manufactures fuels, aromatics, industrial and automotive lubricants and baseoils.

Singapore Refinery: Lubes and Specialities

The lubricants plant was built using state-of-the-art ExxonMobil technology that employs ExxonMobil proprietary catalysts. This plant produces lubricants basestock which allows extended lubricant life and superior emissions performance.

Jurong Aromatics Plant

JAR is one of ExxonMobil's biggest aromatics plants in Asia. A key strength is its flexibility to optimise crude oil product slates according to market conditions.
